The final touch

Oh god, how much I loathe
the Hippocratic Oath
It tries to chain me tight
by telling me what’s right

As I can clearly see
I am meant to be free
from morality
by geniality

The empathy and ethics
are artificial limits
set by old dead Greek
just to make me weak

I love to feel the thrill
when I use my skill
To practice medicine
and taste the dopamine

I will make you perfect
I will make you pure
I will erase defects
I’m the only cure

Your creator is fraud
I am the only god

I
bring
the final touch

The mother nature lost
when our paths have crossed
Now I dictate the way
how life’s going to sway

I’m giving life new form
wearing my white uniform
with tools made of steel
making my dreams come real

It’s my creativity
and huge ability
pushing reality
near immortality

Death needs my permission
to finish its mission
I decide when you rot
‘cause I’m the only god

I will make you perfect
I will make you pure
I will erase defects
I’m the only cure

Your creator is fraud
I am the only god

I
bring
the final touch

Note

The Hippocratic Oath is an oath of ethics historically taken by physicians. It is one of the most widely known of Greek medical texts. In its original form, it requires a new physician to swear, by a number of healing gods, to uphold specific ethical standards.
